SONIA RICKE

Sonia Ricke Siegmund was born in the city of Temuco, Chile, in 1948.

She studied law at the University of Concepción and was admitted in 1972. She received the University of Concepción Prize as the top in her graduating class at the School of Law in 1969.

She is a member of the Chilean Bar Association.

Her experience has been gained in legal counsel and service in commercial and civil matters in general, with a special focus on banking and financial regulation, corporate affairs, property and compliance.

She was legal counsel and then senior counsel and compliance officer at Ripley Bank; senior counsel at Banco del Pacífico, head attorney at the former Banco Osorno y la Unión, Banco Concepción and Banco del Desarrollo. She was also outside counsel to the mortgage area of the legal department of Banco del Estado de Chile, Corpbanca, Banco Santander-Chile and the former Banco Santiago.

She became an associate at Puga Ortiz in 1988 and a member of the team of partner Igor Stancic-Rokotov, where she works to the present.
