RENÉ LUIS ÁVILA NUÑEZ
Attorney with over 29 years of experience in complex litigation and strategic business consulting. Corporate director. 28 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels at the University of Chile School of Law.
Specialist in Civil, Family, and Labor Procedural Law, arbitration, and highly complex litigation with a solid academic background; author of books and leading legal publications in Chile. Extensive experience in comprehensive strategic advisory services, both judicial and extrajudicial, as well as in comprehensive real estate advisory services.
Education and Academic Experience
Lawyer from the University of Chile. Since 1998, he has been an Associate Professor of Procedural Law at the University of Chile Law School.
He is a regular member of the undergraduate examination committees for Procedural Law.
Between 2005 and 2008, he served as Academic and Student Director of the Law School at the same institution.
He has taught continuing education and graduate courses at the Judicial Academy and the University of Chile, including courses on Criminal Procedural Reform for the Chilean National Police, among others.
Professional Career
Between 1997 and 2018, he was a partner at the law firm Kast, Pinochet, De la Cuadra & Cia. Abogados. Subsequently, he served as an associate attorney at Labbé Abogados.
