Experience
Before joining Puga Ortiz, he was legal, commercial, compliance and mining property director of Teck Resources Chile Ltda for eight years.
2011-2019
- Responsible for all legal, commercial, regulatory, environmental, contractual, negotiations and corporate areas Chile, Peru, Mexico, among others.
- Latin American Compliance Officer for Teck.
- Legal representative, permanent director for Teck Chile companies (Quebrada Blanca, Carmen de Andacollo, Nueva Unión), Peru and Mexico, JV’s, project entities, and senior teams (SMT) in risk, financial, mergers, restructuring, strategy, regulatory, environment, communities, corporate affairs, indigenous people, business development and project evaluation.

- Corporate representative with Enami, Ministries, SMA and national and international commercial partners of Teck Chile.
- Sustainability management in the first five years at Teck Chile.
- Teck representative before Sonami (advisor), Mining Council and CNE.

- Legal advisor on Bills and legal matters of the Ministry of Mining and Minister of Mining (closing mining operations, openings of mining capital on the Stock Exchange and environmental inspection and evaluation projects).
