With over fifteen years of experience, his practice focuses on mining law, contract management, and dispute resolution, advising leading companies in the sector in Chile and Latin America during the most critical stages of their projects and operations.

 

His approach integrates the technical, commercial, and legal dimensions of the mining business, enabling him to provide high-value strategic advice on structuring and negotiating complex contracts, managing claims, and designing legal strategies aimed at protecting corporate interests and ensuring operational continuity. She is known for building strong, lasting relationships of trust with clients, who value the clarity of her legal judgment, her strategic vision, and the confidence she instills in decision-making.

 

For nearly a decade, she served as a senior associate at MGC Abogados, where she led contractual advisory work for major mining companies such as: Antofagasta Minerals Group (Minera Los Pelambres, AMSA, Centinela, Antucoya), Teck Quebrada Blanca, and Teck Carmen de Andacollo. Subsequently, as a corporate attorney at the Canadian engineering consulting firm WSP, she expanded her practice to include projects and bidding processes across Latin America in the mining, environmental, energy, transportation, and infrastructure sectors.

 

In the academic sphere, she is a professor of Legal Writing and Contract Analysis at Universidad Mayor and part of the faculty team at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez that supports students in preparing for the International Arbitration Competition.

 

Academic Background

 

Master’s degree in Tort Law—with a specialization in Contractual and Non-Contractual Liability—from the University of Girona, Spain, earned with honors; and holds a certificate in Environment and Sustainable Development from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. She is a lawyer from Universidad Central, graduating with highest honors and recognized as the top student of her class.
